Personal Schedule

You can create your own personal schedule by selecting the events you are interested in attending. The data for selected events is stored in a cookie on your local machine. This cookie has a 31-day lifespan, but contains no personal identifiable information.

If you have a PyCon login account, your information is also stored on the server and your schedule will be accessible from any browser or machine. If you log out, the local login schedule cookie will be removed, though a non-login schedule cookie may remain. You may have to re-sync with server re-sync with the server before changes appear on other machines. Re-syncing and refreshing the schedule page have the same effect.

Presenters with a PyCon login account will have their talks automatically selected and flagged with the presenter presenter icon.

Session Chairs with a PyCon login account will have thier talks autotomatically selected and flagged with the session chair session chair icon. Session chairs are assigned to the Room and Time slot, and not the specific talk. The talk may be changed to another room or time, but the session chair assignment will not move with that change.

Exporting your schedule

For Apple iCal or Mozilla Calendar, click the "iCal" link and the calendar program should start up automatically and import the event(s).
For 'Selected Events': If you do not have a PyCon login, updates may be sporadic and take 24+ hours to propagate. If you do have a PyCon login, you must re-sync with server re-sync with the server before the calendar software will see the changes.

For MS Outlook, click the "Outlook" link to download the file to your desktop. Open up Outlook and import the file you downloaded.
In Outlook, Choose File->Import and Export...
Select "Import an iCalendar or vCalendar file (.vcs)"
Click "Next>" and follow the instructions
Outlook cannot subscribe to the feed and will not automatically update with changes.

For Google Calendar, right click on the "Google" link and copy the link. (Select "Copy shortcut" or "Copy link location"). Then, open Google Calendar, and on the left, click the "+" sign next to "Other Calendars". On the "Add Other Calendar" page, click "Public Calendar Address" and paste the link into the form there.
Note: Sometimes Google Calendar takes a few tries before the feed takes-- if it's giving you an error message, please try entering the feed link again.
For 'Selected Events': If you do not have a PyCon login, you must use the browser with the PyCon schedule cookie in order to get updates. If you do have a PyCon login, you must re-sync with server re-sync with the server before Google Calendar will see the changes.
